Invitation

My nephew, Lawrence Sefiel will be turning one on the 23rd and we will be having a simple yet fantastic party in our house. Here's the invitation i created and already approved by his parents. hehehe!

I got the background from Google,and adapted the heading from one sample invitation i found online. I used the Waltdisney's font and the colors red, yellow and white. It will be printed in a photo paper and we will buy the envelope in National Bookstore. 

Babe (I call him, babe) is addicted to different Disney Junior's shows. Dibo, Agent Oso, The Hive, Porroro, Mickey Mouse, etc... But since Mickey Mouse is the most popular in our country, thus it would be very easy to look for party supplies, we decided to come up with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. I just did the canvassing in Divisoria for the party supplies, and disclosed it to them. I got their approval already so its final. I'll keep you posted sweeties. I am excited, really. Event organizing is a passion, and i'm so much inspired because it is for our little man. =)

Starbucks' Treats for January

I was missing Starbucks (oh! i mean my one and only fave drink, Mocha Frap. hehehe!) the past few weeks since i seldom do it lately. My taste buds were dying to feel it, seriously.  (One Mocha Frap, Venti lang kahit hindi mo na ko pakainin, happy tummy na.. =)) ) Unfortunately, there is no Starbucks near our place in Bulacan, and my pocket can't afford to spend 150 bucks for a cup of coffee at this moment, for i got no work.. hanggang 3 in 1 lang ako lately o kaya coffee made by me. hahaha!

And oh! by the way, I was back in the Metro and started looking for a job on the 3rd week of January, stayed there for couple of days. Thanks Jayie for letting me stay in you place for several days. 

Here are the starbucks' treats i got!! They were all "libre!" Thank you friends from the bottom of my heart. You may not all be aware but I've been craving for this big time. You were all my genies, for granting this simple wish. And sweeties, i got more than one.. wait! You'll see...

 Sis, this is a relieved. I had a very exhausting day, you know that. And this is the highlight of the 18th. Thank you Jayie.

When i was heading to the place, Jelly called and asked me to hurry up because my Frap was already melting. I was surprised. Thank you so much girl!

 Sweeties, she is not just my twinsister but one of my Stabucks' buddies too. HAPPY! =)

Annie was actually going to treat us for merienda, but Starbucks spotted, so Ichi said that she will be adding some to Annie's bucks to have this. I was refusing because i know how much it would cost, but they insisted so Tadaaaaaaa.. They treated me not just a Frap, but with my favorite Starbucks' cinnamon swirl...

Reunited with Ichi after 3 years. =)

This was really unexpected. I met up with Annie to borrow something when we saw Ichi walking along the street (heading to their boarding house). I was shocked and screamed, smiling so big and hugged her. Your missed, bunso. And I'm so happy to see you again..

Mads, we missed you here.

I was only craving for a frap, but I got more than that. Aside from the tripled Frap plus the cinnamon swirl, I got a chance to be reunited with Jayie and Ichi, and heard a new business plan from Jelly, Dean and Pipo. Being with my friends is more than a billion Frap, their company is incomparable, they are priceless. They are all God's gift. And dear God, Thank you so much for them. HAPPY. =)

SIGNS

Hi sweeties! I am sharing with you a part of an article/note i read in Fb posted by a certain Akoposijayson under his notes entitled "Pahingi ng Sign" This made me smile and wonder at the same time. Well, i'm a sign-freak. hahaha! This is worth your time sweeties. Read it!

Tanong. Epektibo ba ang mga Signs? O may sablay din sila?

Heto ang ilang Do’s and Don’ts sa paghingi ng SIGNS.

1. Magtakda ng “specific” na sign. Wag lang basta “Please, give me a sign”. Malabo kasi yun. Sa loob ng isang araw, ilang pangyayari ang pwede mong ituring na sign? Andami diba? Alin sa kanila? Halimbawa, humingi ka ng sign kung dapat mo na bang iwanan ang boyfriend mong kupal. Pagising mo, tumugtog sa radyo ang theme song nyong “Baby” ni Justine Bieber. Uy. Sign yun na dapat paring manatili sa relasyon. Pero maya maya, pagbukas mo ng TV, hiwalayan at umaatikabong iyakan ang eksenang inabutan mo. Naku, sign yun na dapat ka nang umi-split. Nakakalito diba?

2. Wag gamiting sign ang mga pangyayari na siguradong magaganap, tulad ng pagsikat ng araw kinabukasan o pagdaan ng isang pulang sasakyan sa EDSA. Halimbawa: “May pagtingin din siya sakin kapag gawa sa patatas ang o-orderin kong french fries sa Jollibee”.

3. On the other hand, wag ding gamitin bilang sign ang mga events na napaka-imposible o sobrang bihira mangyari, gaya ng pag-aalign ng mga planeta sa solar system o biglaang paglutang ng lost city of Atlantis. Halimbawa: “Dapat ko nang sagutin si Jograd kung may makita akong ulap na ka-hugis ng painting na Last Supper, mamayang 3:24 ng hapon”.

4. Wag gawing sign ang isang pangyayari na ikasasama o may negatibong epekto sa ibang tao. Halimbawa, “Ako ang mapo-promote bilang official taga-stapler, kapag aksidenteng nabanlian ng kumukulong kape sa mukha si Jhunjhun, mula sa vending machine”. Mali naman yun kahit sabihin mong ikaw lang ang nakakaalam o ito’y kathang isip. Pero kung gagawin mo parin, tubuan ka sana ng 2 malusog at mapulang sungay sa noo.

5. Magtakda ng petsa kung hanggang kailan hihintayin ang sign. Para hindi ka mag-mukhang sayote sa kaka-abang. Alangan namang 60 years old kana, tapos may mga apo na ang balak mong ligawan, pero nag-aantay ka parin ng sign kung dapat mo ba siyang yayain makipag-date sa Mall of Asia.

Sign. Tropa nila Destiny, Fate at “Meant-To-Be”. Mabentang tema sa mga pelikula at TV shows pagdating sa pag-ibig. Masarap nga naman isipin na kahit anong mangyari, merong nilalang na talagang nag-eexist para sayo. At bahala na si SIGNS na ituro sayo ang daan papunta sa kanya.

Walang masama doon. Pagpapakita ito ng submission sa isang higher being. Faith (Funny how Faith and Fate go hand in hand). Isang paraan ng pagsasabing, alam mong may mabuti siyang plano para saiyo at inaantay mo lang na i-guide ka niya.

Pero teka, paano kung ayon sa  SIGNS e “Huwag mo siyang ligawan” o “Itago mo nalang ang nararamdaman mo para sa kanya”? Kontento ka naba doon? Hindi ba’t parang mas fulfilling kung sumubok at mabigo (kung saan ako ay eksperto)kesa sa pinigilan mo ang sarili dahil lang hindi umayon ang hiningi mong sign?

Paano naman yung mga utak-chicharon na, harap-harapang niloloko ng kanilang mga karelasyon (pinsan daw niya yung ka-lips to lips nya sa Food Court), pero humihingi parin ng sign kung dapat na bang mag-let go? O kaya e yung mga involved sa bawal na pag-ibig at gusto pa ng aparisyon para malaman kung tama ba o kelangan na nilang tumigil?

Signs. Wag dito ibase ang mga bagay na dapat pinag-iisipang mabuti at ginugugulan ng oras bago pagdesisyunan. Wag humingi nito kung “obvious” naman ang kasagutan, kaya ka nga may utak. Wag mong hayaan na maging dahilan ito ng pagsisi, mula sa mga pagkakataong iyong pinalampas. Isa sa pinaka lecheng ending ay “regret”.

Muli. Maikli lang ang buhay. Baka maubos kakahintay ng SIGN.

I have always been a fan of their music, but i was late in this hit. LOL.
